Gary Reed

Gary Reed has 40+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with domestic and international projects. Mr. Reed’s responsibilities have been primarily focused on midstream asset management, engineering, and operations for both oil and gas products. His industry experience includes project development, asset and company acquisition due diligence, project siting and environmental permitting at the state and federal levels, engineering, project management, asset construction, operations, and HSE management. He has extensive experience in gas treating for CO2 and H2S removal, gas liquids processing, NGL product fractionation, gas storage surface facilities, compression, and pipeline systems ranging from gathering systems to interstate pipelines. Mr. Reed began his career with Phillips Petroleum and held various positions at Delhi Gas Pipeline (TXO), American Pipeline, and KN Energy serving as Vice President/Director of Engineering Operations. While at KN he had managerial responsibility for pipeline and gas plant engineering, construction, measurement, compression, HSE programs, system mapping, ROW, and operational technical services. After leaving KN he owned an engineering services and survey company serving energy companies and related industries. Additionally, Mr. Reed has worked for Swift Energy Company as Director of Facilities and Construction, and Halcón Field Services as Director of Engineering and ESH. Mr. Reed graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Arkansas.
